Duane's interest in photography began long ago with a box camera he received as a Christmas gift as a child. Later his interest grew, and he graduated to a Nikon camera that he acquired while serving in the Air Force. He now shoots with an Olympus OMD-1, 2 and a Olympus OMD-1. Mark 3.
As a retired country veterinarian, Duane has always had an appreciation for the beauty of the Flint Hills. He has become passionate about capturing that beauty and sharing it with others.
Duane has an eye for broad landscapes and intimate details. He also admires the work of other photographers
Every attempt has been made to produce these products locally. The author, illustrator, and graphic designers are local characters.

Prairie Patchwork is about sharing a vision with anyone who is interested in family, friendship, storytelling, and creativity.
