We at Prairie Patchwork love our place here in the Flint Hills of east central Kansas. Our hope is to share the patchwork of broad vistas, the relaxed pace, and homespun warmth of this country through words and images.
The Flint Hills of east central Kansas are one of the last stands of native tall grass on the planet. Once home to the American bison, the grasses here now fatten beef cattle for markets around the world. They also anchor our wide sky and serve as backdrop for glorious sunsets and home for an array of fascinating birds and mammals.

Prairie Patchwork is about sharing a vision with anyone who is interested in family, friendship, storytelling, and creativity. We feature books for children and the adults who love to read with them and clever projects that accompany the stories: A Raccoon Board Game, or quilt patterns to accompany a well-loved story. In addition, Jerilynn has written two historical fiction books, one for older children and one for YA. We are not about mass production, or big business. Our products are created with love and full of local flavor. Give us a try if you would like a taste of life from the middle of things.
